What’s Your Line: Finding The Right Words For Your Wedding Day

by Mia Bolaris-Forget (Staff Writer)I am not a person who is often at a loss for words, but there are times when I suffer from serious mental-block. Perhaps it’s not mental-block entirely, but instead a lack of assurance of if I’m expressing myself in the right way. After all, there are certain situations or occasions when saying just the right thing in just the right way is IMPERATIVE.
And, your wedding celebration is one of those times. In fact choosing your words carefully is essential, especially for impact and effect. After all, it’s often not what you say, but how you say it.
Experts suggest getting a little help from your “friends”. They recommend giving your day some personal panache by noting some of your favorite lines from books, movies, poems or songs and incorporating them into your celebration by including them in your ceremony, reception, even in your décor. Consider printing them on hand towels, napkins, matchbook covers, glassware, fabrics, favors and more.
