Every woman knows that she should have a few “transition” pieces in her ensemble. You know, those glorious garments that suit both corporate world and the after work atmosphere.

But, its not likely that most of us think of wedding gowns as a transitional piece. But, believe it or not they “can” be and can be dressed up or down depending on how your accessorize them.

According to experts, belts give gowns a more ready to wear appeal. Skinny vintage belts are best for a tiny torso, while wide, multi-material belts provide a poignant graphic contrast. High-waisted belts on the other hand accentuate the cut of an empire gown.
